This manual was originally devised and written with a view to training practitioners for the immigration accreditation scheme. It is the core text material for our four-day Foundation in Immigration Law courses.

From June 2010, the Law Society have announced that the immigration accreditation and re-accreditation exams are open book exams - this means that candidates can take any materials into the examination room, including text books. The HJT Training Immigration Manual was originally written with accreditation in mind, and comes closer than any other source to being a one-stop resource, if used alongside the Phelan and Gillespie Immigration Law Manual, for the candidate wishing to efficiently revise and perform in the exam. We will be providing a Manual to all delegates who attend one of our reaccreditation and accreditation courses*
